Panchang for Saturday or Shanivar will mark Pratipadha Tithi by Shukla Paksha in Chaitra month. The day will be considered the beginning of the auspicious Chaitra Navratri festival. Chaitra is the first month of the Hindu calendar and Navratri which falls during this month is known as Chaitra Navratri. During the festival, Hindu followers worship the nine forms of the goddess Durga on nine different days. They also fast for nine days and eat only “satvik” food that is made without onions and garlic. On April 2, Maa Shailputri is worshiped on the first day of Navratri.

Pratipadha tithi starts at 11.54 on April 1 and will remain until 11.58 on April 2. On Saturday, after 11.58, Dwitiya tithi will take effect. Revati Nakshatra or the constellation will be present until 11.21 on April 2. On Saturday, both the moon and the sun will be in Meena Rashi.
Shubh Muhurat for April 2nd
The promising Brahma Muhurat will reign from 04.38 to 05.24. Abhijit Muhurat will be from 12.00 to 12.50 on Saturday. The times for Godhuli Muhurat are from 18.27 to 18.51. Vijaya muharat will fall from 2.30pm to 3.20pm.
Ashubh Muhurat for April 2nd
According to Panchang, Rahu Kaal will start at 09.18 and end at 22.51, while Gulikai Kaal will rule from kl. 06.10 to 07.44 on Saturday. The times for Yamaganda Muharat will be from 01.59 to 03.32. Dur Muharat will be from 06.10 to 07.50.
