Elon Musk says Twitter legal team told him he violated an NDA

New Delhi: Elon Musk tweeted on Saturday that Twitter Inc’s legal team accused him of violating a confidentiality agreement by revealing that the sample size of the social media platform’s controls of automated users was 100.

“Twitter legal recently called to complain that I have violated their NDA by revealing that the fine size sample size is 100!” tweeted Musk, CEO of electric car manufacturer Tesla Inc.

Musk tweeted on Friday that his $ 44 billion deal to take the company private was “temporarily on ice” while he waited for information on the percentage of fake accounts.

He said his team would test “a random sample of 100 followers” on Twitter to identify the cures. His response to a question prompted Twitter to accuse him.

When a user asked Musk to “develop the process for filtering bot accounts”, he replied: “I chose 100 as the sample size number, because that’s what Twitter uses to calculate <5% fake / spam / duplicates.
