Huawei Mate X3 Could Launch by the End of April

Huawei Mate X3 is a foldable smartphone that is rumored to be launched in China at the end of this month. It is expected to succeed the Huawei Mate X2, which was released in February 2021. The Chinese technology giant has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of this phone. However, it has been discovered on various certification websites, including the latest China Compulsory Certification (3C) list. The alleged 3C rating suggests that the Huawei Mate X3 will be able to support up to 66W fast charging.

According to a recent Report by Huawei Central, the Huawei Mate X3 foldable smartphone can be launched in China at the end of April. This smartphone was reportedly is also available at the 3C certification site with the model number PAL-AL00. As mentioned earlier, the listed handset is said to support up to 66W fast charging. It is reportedly listed to offer LTE support, which may indicate that Huawei may launch a 5G variant separately.

An earlier report has suggested that the Huawei Mate X3 could have BOE Display’s PWM (pulse width modulation) screen with an ultra-thin glass screen. It is expected to have a battery of 4,500 mAh. The smartphone is intended to run on HarmonyOS 2.0.1. Huawei Mate X3 is said to be powered by a Kirin 9000 4G SoC which falls in line with the alleged 3C listing.

Its predecessor, the Huawei Mate X2, is powered by the Kirin 9000 5G SoC, paired with the Mali-G78 GPU. The handset has a 6.45-inch OLED screen. When unfolded, it reveals an 8-inch OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The handset has 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of built-in storage that can be expanded up to 256 GB with Huawei’s Nano memory card. Huawei Mate X2 is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging.
