Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) on Saturday issued a revised schedule for the entrance exams for its undergraduate and graduate programs, with the exams starting from the second week of June.
Admission tests for non-CUET courses were scheduled to begin on June 2. But according to the new application, the entrance exams will start on June 11.
“The Rector (Najma Akhtar) has kindly agreed to schedule the dates for the entrance exams … given the extension of the deadline for completing the CUET form and the ongoing regular review of CBSE,” the university said in a statement along with the revised dates. for the entrance exams.
According to the application, the 126 entrance exams for various postgraduate and postgraduate courses will be completed in almost a month. The tests are scheduled to end on July 8.
On Friday, JMI extended the last date for submission of online application forms for all postgraduate and postgraduate courses to 25 May.
May 13 was previously the last date for submission of the admission forms. Last month, JMI released its admission prospectus and said that online admission forms were made available from April 14.
The university had previously announced that admission to 10 courses will take place through CUET.
