Facebook owner Meta no longer requires employees to have covid-19 boosters to enter their offices in the United States, a company spokesman said on Friday.
The social media company previously said that all workers returning to the office must present proof of their booster jabs, while the company monitored the situation of the Omicron variant.
“We updated our requirements in early March to comply with the CDC guidelines, and now covid-19 boosters are no longer required for entry, but it is highly recommended. The requirement for primary vaccination (1- or 2-shot series) remains” , says Meta’s spokesperson Tracy Clayton.
