Micromobility; a rising career opportunity for students

Post-pandemic, there is an increase in micro-mobility vehicles, people are now more likely to associate responsibly. Sales of electric bicycles in Europe and the USA exploded after Covid 19. Transport solutions with low emissions such as e-scooters, e-bicycles and ordinary bicycles come with an advantage. If you want to choose a sustainable future, micromobility is one of the best tools for reducing or removing harmful greenhouse gases. 28% of the total emissions are transport-related, with the current scenario, micromobility has become the need for hours. If we make changes to our transport networks, we will make progress towards a sustainable and environmentally friendly future.

In recent years, the increase in micro-mobility companies such as ofo, mobike, citi bike and jump bike has also increased consumers’ interest in convenient alternatives for transport. Small, light vehicles such as bicycles, e-bikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards, shared bikes and electric bikes with pedal support (pedelec) are trendy among young people for the last mile. According to a survey conducted by the McKinsey Center for Future Mobility in July 2021, 70% of respondents are willing to use micro-mobility vehicles for their exhibition. The micromobility sector is expected to be worth $ 300 billion to $ 500 billion by 2030, according to Mckinsey and Company. In the coming years, therefore, a sharp increase in the number of jobs available in this sector will be seen worldwide.
