Motorola is said to be working on a new smartphone that can be launched as part of the company’s Moto G series. The handset, tipped to be the Moto G82, has been spotted on certification websites in various countries, including the Wi-Fi Alliance, EEC, BIS and TDRA websites proposing the upcoming launch of the smartphone. The processor on the rumored Moto G82 has also been tipped off after it was discovered on a benchmarking website. Motorola has not yet officially revealed any details about the unannounced phone.
According to a Report by MySmartPrice, a new Moto G-series smartphone has been discovered on the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) website with the model number XT2225-1 and the name Moto G82. The smartphone was also seen in a list on the EEC certification website, which shows the smartphone listed with the model numbers XT2225-1 and XT2231-3. Gadgets 360 was able to confirm the smartphone’s listing on the certification sites.
At the same time, the handset, which would be the Moto G82, was also seen on the Wi-Fi Alliance website with the model number XT 2225-1, which reveals that the phone will support dual-band Wi-Fi and will run on Android 12 from the box. The smartphone has also been discovered on the BIS website, with the model number XT2225-1 – which indicates that the phone will also make its debut in India according to the report.
The rumored Moto G82 smartphone was also seen in a Geekbench list for a smartphone with the model number XT2225-2 with a single core score of 651 and multi-core score of 1850. The handset is listed to have an eight-core processor that can be Snapdragon 695 based on its specifications, according to Report. The list also shows that the smartphone comes with 8 GB of RAM. As previously mentioned, the company has not yet officially announced any details about the Moto G82 smartphone.
