samsung: Samsung launches the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) – Times of India

Technology giant Samsung has quietly launched its latest Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022), in Italy. The device can be pre-ordered on Amazon Italy’s website and will start shipping on May 23.
The new Samsung Galaxy Tab The S6 Lite has a 10.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels with support for the S Pen. The S Pen also comes with the product, as does the charger. The tablet is powered by a Snap-dragon 720G chipset together with 4GB RAM. It offers 64 GB of built-in storage and is supported by a 7,040 mAh battery. As for the sound, Samsung has included two AKG-tuned speakers Dolby Atmos Support. There is also a 3.5 mm sound jack.
Given that this is the 2022 upgrade to the 2020 version, users will get Android 12 on this device instead of Android 10. At the same time, the older version has also been updated with Android 12 a few months ago and will get new updates for another year, with an extra year for security patches.
The new Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is also priced € 20 more than its predecessor for the 4GB + 64GB variant, with a cost of € 399. But since this is the newer version, the Android tablet is set to receive updates and security fixes much longer than its predecessor, not to mention Android 13 at some point in the future.
It seems that Samsung has not introduced the 128GB storage variant or the LTE version now either. Maybe these products will appear on Amazon’s and Samsung’s websites both when the inventory is updated.
