San Francisco: The popular social network Snapchat has announced that users across iOS and Android can now share YouTube videos directly to the platform.
Snapchat said that over 2 billion logged-in users visit YouTube every month to listen to videos that help them find new music, learn different skills, find out news and discover more about the world around them.
“… all Snapchatters across iOS and Android can seamlessly share their favorite videos on YouTube with their friends right through their Snapchat camera – no more annoying copying and pasting required!” said the company in a blog post.
“With this new integration, we’re making it easier than ever for these viewers to post their favorite clips and videos right where they’re already talking to their friends on Snapchat,” it added.
This is the first time that YouTube links can be visually shared to Snapchat Stories and One-on-One Snaps, while giving you access to the camera and the entire suite of Snapchat Creative Tools for self-expression.
“Our clickable YouTube stickers for Snapchatters directly to the video in the YouTube app or in their preferred mobile browser,” the company said.
“At Snap, we believe in the power of visual communication, and with this partnership, we give our community endless ways to express themselves, share what they’re looking at and put on their own creative images,” it adds.
