NEW DELHI: As “The Kashmir Files” is ready to be released on India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform, ZEE5 in several languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada, and will be available in over 190 countries, the manufacturers came up with a major revolution in the music industry with ‘Sounds of The Kashmir Files’ which provides a whole new experience for the audience to relive the unforgettable moment while touching the hearts of millions with the musical strings that continued to capture the evening.
A large association of Zee Studios, ZEE5 and #IAmBuddha holds up all the credit for organizing such a dignified event that made the evening drown in the stories of “The Kashmir Files”. The event marked the presence of director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri with actors Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar. The musical event for such a thing came as the first heartbreaking experience ever for the audience and the students who got to experience and be enveloped by the stories of the struggle and pain that the people of Kashmir went through at that time.
Vivek Agnihotri shared, “We performed the sound of” The Kashmir Files “and we told two stories about the victims of Darshan Kumaar and Pallavi Joshi together with the huge symphony orchestra. There was not even an eye in the crowded theater that did not shed tears. and with the staff in the auditorium standing close, as I waited behind the scenes, I noticed that they only cried when they just listened to it and did not even see it.This shows that everyone is connected to the pain and suffering of our brothers and sisters. The Kashmir Files was not just a film for us, it is our mission to tell the stories of the Kashmir genocide to people of all art forms, we have used this musical theater as a mix for the first time in India as an experiment and we will take it further many other forms, but we will not sit until we tell the whole story of Kashmir. “
The best glimpse of ZEE5 organized, “Sounds of The Kashmir Files” that caught the attention were the letters from Kashmiri Pandit read by Darshan Kumar and Pallavi Joshi who took the place on the central stage with the Symphony Orchestra with Rohit Sharma and artists from the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) which took up the scene in a semicircle pattern that gave a perfect background score to the touching words written in the letters. The kind of anger that was visible around the corners at the event was magical and had never been seen before in any case.
